পশ্চিমবঙ্গে এসএসসি পরীক্ষা একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পরীক্ষা। এটি ছাত্রদের পঠন ও মানসিকতা পরিবর্তন করে একটি অন্যতম দরজা খুলে দেয়। এই পরীক্ষার ইংরেজি বিষয়টি একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ খন্ড এবং ছাত্রদের জন্য চ্যালেঞ্জিং হতে পারে।

এসএসসি ইংরেজি পরীক্ষায় সামগ্রিকভাবে ছাত্রদের ভাবনাগুলি পরীক্ষা করা হয়। পরীক্ষার সময়ে সাধারণত তিনটি বিভাগে বিভক্ত হয়ে থাকে - পাঠ, লেখা ও গ্রামার। পাঠ বিভাগে ছাত্রদেরকে পাঠগুলি বুঝতে এবং ব্যবহার করতে বলা হয়। লেখা বিভাগে তাদেরকে একটি নির্দিষ্ট বিষয়ে লেখা করতে বলা হয়। গ্রামার বিভাগে তাদেরকে ইংরেজি ব্যাকরণ ও সঠিক বাক্য বিন্যাসের জ্ঞান পরীক্ষা করা হয়।
